What is Accusight®?Accusight® is a computer system for measuring visual acuity that leads to precise evaluation due to automatic adjustment of the size of optotypes according to the size and distance of display monitor. Elements that compose the Accusight® solution

The system is composed of a computer with monitor, remote control, infrared receiver connected to an USB port, and a hardware protection key that acts as the software licence. The computer display monitor can be chosen according to the functional and aesthetic characteristics of the consulting room. Minimum requirements are flat screen, 15 inches, and resolution of 1024x768. Either CRT or LCD display can be used. It is even possible to use a two monitor solution in such a way that the vision test is performed on a wall mounted monitor while the main monitor is at the doctor's desk available for using other applications. With the help of keyboard and mouse Accusight® supplies means for adjustments according to the size of the display and the distance to patients chair. The operation of the system is later done with the remote control. |
