Frequently asked questions
I made a successful installation of AccuSight® and Keyspan
but it doesn't work.
I get the message: "Unauthorized attempt of program execution. Verify protection key
installation."
The message "Unauthorized attempt of program execution..." is shown if the hardware
protection key is not plugged to the computer.
AccuSight® comes with a protection key that must be plugged
to the computer. The absence of the key may characterize unauthorized copy and prevents its
utilization.
Some copies are distributed with a parallel key that must be connected to the printer port
in the computer. See figure at left. Printer cable must then be connected to the key.
Other copies as distributed with a USB key like the figure at the right. It then must be
plugged to one of the USB ports in the computer.
The remote control is not working.
Make sure you have removed the battery protection film. Remove battery cover, remove battery,
remove the film, and finally replace battery and close lid.
Is it possible to add photos and images to the Photos session
of AccuSight®?
The program AccuSight® is normally installed in the folder
C:\Program Files\AccuSight or C:\Arquivo de Programas\AccuSight for the portuguese version
of Windows. Inside this folder there is a folder named Images. Inside this folder are the sub-folders
that contain the photos and images to be shown with the menu option "Photos".
It is possible to create new folders and add images in the folder Images as one pleases.
Is it possible to use AccuSight® with a second monitor?
AccuSight® can be used in a configuration where the
patient's screen is shown on a second monitor mounted on the wall while the main computer
monitor stands on the doctor's desk and is used for other applications.
Click here to see how to configure your computer in order to use
two monitors.
The video show option does not work.
Make sure that version 10 of Windows Media Player has been installed
in the computer. AccuSight® needs this version
to show videos properly.
